Sarge, 1979 Ford F-250 4×4
Sarge was a unique build, in that, MCOR had a the overall task to create something from scratch. We wanted to keep the individual styling of the original truck and just make this an off-road beast.
Originally a 1979 F250 XLT with 351 engine. We installed a double triangulated 0.375” wall DOM 4-link suspension, PSC 4-wheel full hydraulic steering, 2.5 ton Rockwell military steerable axles, 46” Goodyear Military Tires on Stazworks 20×12 double beadlock wheels, Ford 460 CI engine with Holley 750 Truck Avenger carb, rebuilt the T18 manual trans mated to the original NP205 T-case.
In addition, we gave this truck a military styling with the olive drab/camo paint and a rugged interior fit for any warrior.
