I was born and raised in College Station, Texas. Ever since I saw Bigfoot for the first time as a young child, I was hooked on big trucks. At the age of 12 years old I learned to drive off-road in a ’79 CJ7 Jeep Renegade with my dad. I installed my first suspension lift at the age of 15 years old, on a ’96 Ford F250. I was quickly hooked and continued to install lift kits and modify vehicles as my skills grew. I have always enjoyed taking a stock vehicle and making it more capable and personalized to its owner and what they want. I still own the second truck I ever built for myself and it has been through many stages from a 5.5” suspension lift to its current 22” suspension lift on 2.5 ton military axles and 46” military tires. The third truck I built for myself was a ’79 F250 on 2.5 tons with double triangulated 4-link suspension and four wheel hydraulic steering. I have done engine swaps and gasoline to diesel conversions and axle swaps and conversions. I often think back to the 15 year old version of myself and how much I have learned since that first lift kit install decades ago. I have been blessed to make many lifelong friends in the off-road community who have also taught me a lot along the way.
Ashlyn Castenson
Ashlyn CastensonCo-Owner/Marketing Director
She started riding ATVs at the age of 12 years old. Her first vehicle was an ’02 Jeep TJ on 35s. She drove that TJ all over the country side where she grew up in the Southeast Texas Piney Woods. Her father knew that she had a heavy foot so he made sure the TJ was a 4 cylinder instead of a 4.0L. His theory was that with less power she would stay out of trouble. This didn’t slow her down much though and she managed to still wheel that jeep and have a great time. When we met, she always wanted to drive my trucks and go crab walk the 4-wheel steering of the ’79 F250. I have seen her drive trucks on 48”x31” terra tires and 2.5 ton axles with ease despite only being 5’-3” tall herself. Fast-forward to present day. She has a passion for going off-road and taking our whole family with us. Every time a customer comes by she wants to talk with them and get to know them. She likes to really make people feel welcome and like they’re a part of our family.
Bart Standefer
Bart StandeferFabrication Specialist
Bart has been going off-road since he was a young boy. He can drive anything with an engine regardless if it has wheels or not. He has personally built countless vehicles and has done very technical drivetrain and chassis swaps. In fact, his own personal project right now is stuffing a 2011 Ford F250 6.2L drivetrain into a 1974 Ford Bronco. He has fabricated the entire tube chassis from scratch in his spare time and can’t wait to finish it so he can hit the trails. He has been involved in the off-road community for over 20 years and continues to be an industry leading designer / fabricator.

leveling kit install near me

“I went to Miry Clay for a facelift for my 2008 Chevy Tahoe. They did such a great job, replacing the headlights, tinting the windows and wrapping the bowties in black carbon fiber front and back. The improvements really accomplished what I wanted for now, to bring it back to new on a budget. My next installment in the process will be a leveling kit and blacked out wheels. The folks at Miry Clay gave me great advice on how to go about making changes I could afford now, and planning for the complete overhaul one step at a time. They took care of me like family, and treated my vehicle as if it was theirs. Can’t wait for the total finished product! I will only take my truck to them from now on! Thanks MCOR!”
